Symposium on the Composition of Matter

Publication Plan

• The Symposium papers will be published in the Space Sciences Series of ISSI as Vol. 27 (TBC) an in Space Science Reviews, both published by Springer.
• Editorial Board: George Gloeckler, Glenn Mason, and Rudolf von Steiger.
• All papers will be reviewed.
• Deadline for submission: 31 December 2006.
• Page allocation maximums:
  • Tutorial and Geiss celebration talks: 16pp.
  • Invited talks: 12pp.
  • Contributed talks: 8pp.
  • Posters: 6pp.
• Page limits are strict and include all figures and references. The above limits are already likely to overfill the book.
• Note that book pages are small:
  • Allow 1 page for every 500 words.
  • Allow 1/2 page or more for each figure and caption.
• Manuscripts can be submitted in LaTeX or in Word. Templates are available here.
• Papers are submitted directly to Springer's electronic Editorial Manager.
