ISSI Meeting #1

First Team Meeting at ISSI: March 2-6, 2009

Goals for the first Meeting

• Description of the present status of the Flyby Anomaly (used flybys, data, analysis of data and results). Addressing flybys which data are not yet available or are not yet analyzed (Mars-flyby, Stereo, New Horizons, Hayabusa).
• Description of used ODPs (models, considered influences, problems, error estimates, comparison, etc.)
• Listing and description of all possible influences (atmosphere, choice of reference system, influence on signal propagation, thermal radiation of spacecraft, thruster activities, ...). Which of these are not yet included in the ODPs? Identification of influences which in principle may be relevant for the observed phenomenon.
• General systematic approach for the search of the nature of the observations.
• Planning of more precise observation of future flybys, requirements of observations.
