The source, fate of cold ions from the polar ionosphere and
asymmetry in the magnetotail.

1) Transport of cold ions from the ionosphere to the magnetosphere seems to be asymmetric, 
with larger feed to the dusk side.

2) No significant asymmetries can be found in the source (mainly polar cap).
