February 15-19, 1999

Convenors:

W. Benz University of Bern, Switzerland, willy.benz@phim.unibe.ch

Workshop Topic:

The mandate of the workshop "Dust to Terrestrial Planets" shall be the detailed assessment of the
available astronomical, chronological, geochemical and dynamical constraints of the first period
of inner solar system evolution. This shall include appraisal of the newest results from astronomical
observations of solar-like systems, nebular disks, models of their origin and dissipation, radiation
state of the Sun, accretion of solids in time and space, chemical and physical constraints on
protoplanetesimal to planet formation and differentiation, with an overall emphasis on time scales
of these processes and redistribution of matter.
