The <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">comparison involves 2433 coincident temperature profiles measured between January 2002 and March 2018 in the geographic region surrounding OHP. We have found significant systematic biases between the space-borne and ground-based temperatures measurements in both altitude and over time. In particular, we have found a strong seasonal <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">bias<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000\">of the winter stratopause height and temperature. Th<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">is<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> bias ha<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">s<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> a magnitude of -6 K for the lidar-SABER <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">comparison <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">and -17 K <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">for the<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000\">lidar-<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">MLS <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">comparison<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">.
