We would aim to produce one overarching review of current thinking on surface processes at the Moon, and how these are reflected in the observations of its composition, evolution, and dynamics. In addition, at least one paper to a leading journal is anticipated for the work that will be carried out on one of the different aspects identified above. Cross-calibration efforts may lead to a further paper.
We anticipate that the meetings, which will place world experts in this area in a face to face in a working environment, will catalyse many new avenues and collaborations. The EuroMoon team intend to submit a H2020 application next year, ( a Lunar call is part of the draft announcement) and the workshops can also act as a nucleus where a successful EuroMoon proposal can evolve.
