Or search the collections of 470 scientific libraries in Switzerland in swisscovery (Bern University and PH Bern) for books, journal articles, e-books and e-journals (use e-media licensed by the University of Bern, and access free titles).
Borrow books
The nearest library of the University of Bern for the disciplines of mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, astronomy, and the philosophy of sciences is the Library of Exact Sciences at Sidlerstrasse 5. Please go in person to borrow books from the library.
From many of the Swiss university libraries and the libraries of the ETH, it is possible to borrow media via a courier service that is subject to a fee. To do so, use as pick-up institution:
Universität Bern und PH Bern / Bern UB SOB
The courier service will deliver your book to the Schweizerische Osteuropabibliothek at Hallerstrasse 6 (basement).
