Space Sciences Series of ISSI

The very important goal of the workshop is to produce a reference book on the subject, to be published in the “Space Sciences Series of ISSI”, which will be simultaneously published as a volume of Space Science Reviews. The members of the WS Scientific Organizing Committee will also serve as Editors for the book.

The printed volume will be published after the workshop in the Space Sciences Series of ISSI by Springer. The volume will be issued both as a hardcover book in the ISSI series and also as an issue of the journal Space Science Reviews.  It is expected that a total of about 15 to 20 review style and quality papers, on average about 30 pages each, and submitted to the usual refereeing process will be published in the book.  Papers will be based on talks presented at the Workshop and will reflect the discussions that are encouraged to be held among the participants during the Workshop and during the preparation of the review papers.

 We expect that papers will be due about 3 months after the workshop so they can reflect the discussions during the workshop. All papers will be peer reviewed, and the volume is expected to appear about 12 months after the workshop.

When authors are ready to submit, please go ahead at the Springer Space Science Reviews Editorial Manager site (https://www.editorialmanager.com/spac/default.asp), log in (register, if necessary, before then) as author, follow the instructions.
Please note that for submission you need to choose “ARTICLE TYPE NAME” as “Vol XXX: Structures in plasmas”.  [This link will be open following the Workshop.]

You can submit in almost any format, for example PDF of a WORD document.  Please also inform the editors when you have submitted.  Once you have submitted, Editorial Manager generates its own PDF from what you have sent in, it then invites you to approve this version, it is only after this approval that the Editors are notified and the review process can begin.
