Organisation

Confirmation is required as soon as possible to Hazel McAndrews and Brigitte Fasler and we require the following information:

1. Day/time of arrival/departure.
2. Whether you require a single/double room.
3. Any car parking requirements.
4. If applicable, requests connected with visas for Switzerland.

Participants will find local information about the institute and methods of transport on the ISSI website

This time we will be staying in downtown in the Hotel Kreuz. Please inform Brigitte Fasler of your accommodation requirements and she will deal directly with the hotel. Participants who may prefer to make their own accommodation arrangements should specifically inform Brigitte Fasler.

Per diem reimbursement

Please note that travel costs are not covered.

During the stay in Bern each member will get a per diem for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is normally included at the hotel. The hotel is paid directly by ISSI (NASA scientists having specific admin. rules should contact Brigitte Fasler). Participants will get the per diem by bank transfer, so would each participant please provide the SWIFT or IBAN code together with the exact address of your own bank. If need be, ISSI can consider paying a limited cash advance during the stay in Bern.

Participants will find the address, telephone number, as well as a city map of Bern showing the location of the hotel, the train station and ISSI on the ISSI website . Participants who may prefer to make their own accommodation arrangements should specifically inform Brigitte Fasler.
