Roland Hohensinn received his PhD in Space Geodesy from ETH Zurich, where he investigated the use of GPS for natural hazard monitoring. At ISSI, Roland is conducting research on the uncertainty calibration of GRACE terrestrial water storage observations, as well as on the detection of transient signals (e.g., of seismic or hydrological type) from long-term GPS observations. His broad research interests encompass the analysis and modelling of space geodetic sensor data for environmental monitoring, and the development of statistical methods for change detection derived from these datasets.
