The Surprising Expansion History of the Universe
– Public Lecture by Nobel Laureate Adam Riess

Adam Guy Riess is an American astrophysicist and Bloomberg Distinguished Professor at the Johns Hopkins University and STScI. Prof. Riess is known for his research using supernovae as cosmic probes. His work contributed to the discovery of the universe’s accelerating expansion, earning him and his colleagues the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2011.
