Prof. Dr. Roger-Maurice Bonnet

Roger-Maurice Bonnet was Executive Director of ISSI from 2003 to 2012. During his tenure, ISSI expanded not only from its original focus on solar system plasmas to the modern ISSI, where astrophysics and geosciences have found a home, but also increased its set of tools to engage the global scientific community. Following his retirement as Executive Director, he has remained involved with ISSI as a Senior Scientific Consultant. In recognition of his invaluable contribution to ISSI, he has been appointed Honorary Director in 2021.
